Hi everyone. I'm Enrico, the owner of this blog. I'm 26 and I write from italy (Genoa, in the north west). I have a degree in foreign languages and I definitely love the English language and culture. I have a lot of hobbies; I love sports, listening to music, travelling, computers and mobile phones but one of my favourite passtimes is cooking! I don't really know why and when this began but as a matter of fact, when I need to relax I cook, mainly cakes and biscuits but not only. That's why I created this blog.
Let me tell you something about this blog. Maybe you're thinking "oh no, another boring blog about italian food". Well, actually I'm trying to build something different. First of all this isa blog of italian recipes written by an italian, so TRUE italian recipes.
What's more I'll try to alternate classical recipes with more innovative ones. Sometimes in fact I invent new recipes, and I promise I'll only post the one that tasted good :-)
Another important point is about interaction with you followers. We're in the 2.0 web age, and the content of the websites is built by the reader itself. So you will have the chance to send me your recipes and I'll publish them (of course if they're italian recipes). I will also make frequent surveys in order to know what recipes you want me to post and I'll add a chat windows so that you can post your comments and observations.
You can also add comments to the recipes, and this is very very important. In fact in the comments you tell us after you tried the recipe, if it's good or not, if you made any change to the ingredients or to cooking times, your suggestions and so on.
Actually, without your contributes, it will become another italian recipes blog, but if you will give your contribution, and I'm sure you will, it will become a very important community, with a lot of recipes and suggestions!!!
The recipes will be divided into a few categories: Appetizers, Pasta & rice, Main courses, Desserts. The recipes will be updated daily, and I will post recipes I tried, or I receive from you. The recipes will have a title, a list of ingredients, a description, some pictures and some suggestions.
Everything here is free, so the only thing I'm asking you is to participate!!! Comment the recipes, use the shoutbox and send me your recipes!!!
By the way. If you have typical recipes from your country, send them to me! I'm planning another blog in italian with recipes from all over the world, so please give your contribution!!!
